“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.”

What is a small group?
A small group is community of people who regularly come together around a common cause, similar interests, and who are in a similar stage in life. CityHeart Groups pray for each other, celebrate each other’s successes, and encourage each other through life experiences.

Why should I join a small group?
We believe God created us to be in community with each other and not to live our lives in isolation. Because we are stronger together, we can go further in life, in our relationship with God, and with others.

What types of groups are there?
The main categories for groups are Married’s, Women’s, Men’s, and Students. Each group meets weekly at various meeting times and locations.

When can I join a group?
You can join a small group at any time. CityHeart Groups meet in semesters and only last for 6-8 weeks at a time.

Is childcare provided?
We want to create a comfortable environment for groups that is free of distractions, so children may not be present at small group meetings. We provide childcare reimbursements so that participants and leaders can utilize childcare during group meetings; however, you are responsible for making your own childcare arrangements.

How do I become a small group leader?
We have small group leader training before each semester starts and at the end of Growth Track.
