Family Retreat Day

Join us for a day to get away!

Calling every member of our CityHeart Family to take some time away from screens and schedules to connect with each other and the Lord. This retreat is for all ages and stages of life.

Childcare details: 

Children ages 4 and up will stay with thier family until the designated children's free time in the afternoon. 

Optional Childcare Ticket is available for children ages 0-3. Childcare ticket provides all day childcare from 9 am-4 pm. 

Family Retreat Schedule
Uniting our CityHeart Family through prayer, worship, games and activities

9:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Registration and Welcome Coffee
Families arrive, check in, and receive retreat materials (schedule, any other relevant materials).
Light refreshments: coffee, juice, pastries, fruit

9:30 AM - 10:00 AM: Worship Service
Theme: "Building a Strong Foundation in Christ"
2 worship songs
15 minute sermon

10:00 AM - 10:45 AM: Family & Friends Devotional Time
Families and friends gather in small groups for guided devotionals (materials provided).
Theme: "Praying Together as a Family/Community" – A short devotional followed by a time of prayer.

10:45 AM - 11:30 AM: Outdoor Games & Team Building
Fun games designed to promote teamwork and unity. Compete together in teams, encouraging collaboration and fun.

11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Lunch
Menu: Sandwiches, fruit, chips, and water, tea, lemonade
Family-style seating or picnic tables

12:30 PM - 1:00 PM: Free Time
Board games and card games available, nature trail walk
Other outdoor games the center has available

1:00 PM - 2:45 PM: Kids’ Outdoor Play / Free Time
Free play for children with supervision:
Play areas, sports, nature walks, arts and crafts table.

1:00 PM - 1:45 PM: Ladies & Gents Panels

Lifestyle Session: "Apply Faith in Your Everyday Life"
A practical session on how to intentionally cultivate faith in your business, home, and relationships:
Establishing worship time, prayer habits, and spiritual conversations.

Parenting Session: "Raising Kids with Purpose"
A session for parents on godly parenting, teaching biblical values, and creating a Christ-centered home. Practical tips for applying Scripture to daily family life and dealing with challenges.

A final session to reflect on the day’s teachings.
